She is the author of The Lost Voice (HarperOne, 2025) and the forthcoming Searching for a Love Song (HarperOne, 2028). \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ePrior to focusing prose, Greta spent seventeen years as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. After signing her first record deal in high school, she went on to release nine albums across three projects: The Hush Sound, Springtime Carnivore, and Gold Motel. She was a touring member of Vampire Weekend (2018-2022) and a composer for dozens of songs for film and television. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eIn 2020, she was diagnosed with spasmodic dysphonia, a neurological voice disorder with no known cure, which dramatically diminished her ability to sing. After a three-year period of searching and recalibration, she redirected her creativity toward prose, teaching, meditation, and connecting with the natural world. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eGreta now lives in the Catskills of New York, where she can usually be found watching gold leaves float down creeks, shooting archery on writing breaks, weekend-ing in her camper van, and declaring almost every meal to be the best of her life. \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eOver the past five years, she has cultivated a devoted community of returning writers and artists attending her transformative online workshops.
