With a BFA from Syracuse University, Amy Guip headed to NYC where her photography and collage work was sought after by prestigious clients like HBO, NYTimes, Rolling Stone, Levi’s, Coca-Cola, and Sony. Her career exploded when she photographed the cast of Rent and co-designed the poster for their Broadway debut earning her the Life Magazine Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Outstanding Photography. Coloro Studio has been a return to a more tactile world. Her approach blends unique experimentation, fine craftsmanship, and curious play. Meticulously curated, each of Amy’s pieces is developed with materials and finishes that have textural, dimensional, and reflective qualities, transforming with light of the day.
