PROCESS
Sarah specializes in wheel thrown and hand-built ceramics using a variety of clay bodies ranging from dark brown, light brown-earth to scultpture clay. Once the designs are complete, the pieces are left to dry for several day/weeks until they are leather-hard. The bottoms are then trimmed and dried repeatedly. During the final stages the pieces are a bisque fired, glazed, and then re-fired.
