Original works from this series began with pressed petals and floral watercolor studies that are collaged together and then drawn over with oil pastel. The collection began with the shifting of seasons – from the fierceness of winter to the fragility of spring. During this transition, we witness mother nature full of rapture and paradox. Decay is side-by-side with fertility and chaos with order.
